Hi, my name is Aashna and I am a junior. Over the past couple of years, I have developed a passion for volunteering and positively contributing to my community. I believe the key to life is encapsulated in the saying: "Try to leave this world a little better than you found it." This organization is an effort towards that purpose. I would like to make an impact, however big or small, by bringing attention to an issue I care about. My goal is to truly convince people that girls desereve the exact same oppurtunities not just in India, but all around the world.

Hi my name is Kareena Dutta and I’m going to be a junior at Dougherty Valley High. I believe education is key to succeed in life, and regardless of gender or age, everyone should have access to it. One of my hobbies has been volunteering to tutor younger kids in their studies and in tennis. I personally believe in giving back to the community, spreading kindness and love. Being a part of this organization gives me the opportunity to help make a difference in these girls’ lives, and help provide them with education that I am so lucky to be granted for my entire life.

Hi my name is Harshdeep Kaur and I am an incoming junior at Dougherty Valley High School. My hobbies include playing field hockey, spending time with my family, and coding! In my free time, I teach java lessons to elementary and middle schoolers. I chose to be a part of KanyaGen because I believe education for females in India is a significant issue that need a lot more awareness. Personally, my rights to study in such a positive environment and the opportunities I have living in America are so meaningful and I would like others to experience it too.
